My first vehicle was a 1972 tin top. I spent the last years of my teens working with my pops to keep her running, while living the cliche life of a deadhead; going to as many East Coast shows as possible. We replaced the engine, rebuilt the front suspension and even installed the coveted discman that would skip anytime we hit a pebble. Fast forward a couple decades and I'm now an outdoor adventure writer and photographer. Our 1985 is the perfect compliment to my career and my life. Along with my wife, son and new puppy Rocky, we aspire to spend as much time living the van life as possible. When we aren't traveling in it, my wife is slinging ice cream at her ice cream shop (PomPom Treat Hut in Thornbury, Ontario) and I'm working on Moose while dreaming about the future journeys he will take us on.
Moose
Moose is a 1985 Westfalia. We bought him over the phone from 3000 kilometres away, flew out to pick him up and haven't looked back since.
