This rebuilt torque converter fits all years of Type II Bus & Vanagon with the 3-speed automatic transmission.

Install note: It is imperative to verify that the threaded holes in the torque converter be clear and clean, and the threads chased with a M8x1.25 tap. Never re-use old bolts!

Sold exchange. $500 core charge applies, refundable upon receipt of your resuable core. Please note that if your core is not rebuildable for any reason, you may forfeit some or all of this core charge.

Core is not considered rebuildable if:

• the cooling shroud is damaged
• the ring gear has teeth missing/damaged
• the input shaft mating surface is pitted
• the TC housing has cancer spots or deep pitting
• the hub is scored or out of round
• the flex plate bolt holes are damaged
