The original Volkswagen Coolant Level Sensor is a simple and effective design that typically performed well; however, many of the available aftermarket reproductions of the sensor are prone to developing leaks in their all-plastic design. Our GoWesty Coolant Level Sensor Conversion Kit includes a modern, all-metal coolant level sensor and a thread adapter with a new O-ring for direct install into either the original style Plastic Expansion Tank or our Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank.
