The Vanagon Syncro is finally reaching the age where the filler hose material has reached the end of its service life, and often needs replacing. Like many other aspects of the Syncro, this hose material is not garden-variety stuff that one picks up at your local auto parts retailer down the street. The application demands very specific inside and outside diameters, in addition to being fuel rated and reinforced to prevent collapsing. After some searching, we found a domestic hose manufacturer that was willing to make just what we needed to replace the obsolete 251-201-143A hose. If your Syncro has begun dripping fuel during fill-ups, this hose is just what you need to fix the problem for another 20 years.
Fit note: Not suitable for single and double cab trucks.
