FOR USE WITH GOWESTY PLATE STEEL BUMPERS ONLY.

This simple (yet robust) tire mount allows you to carry a spare tire on our Universal Carrier product. We designed it to accommodate all the common Volkswagen 5 x 112 pattern wheel and tire combinations found on 2wd and 4wd vehicles up to a 10" width.

Kit contents:
• Carrier mounting plate
• Tire and wheel stud plate
• U-bolts and hardware
• Three lug nuts

Installation note: Requires our Plate Steel Rear Bumper, our bumper mounted Swing-Away Arm , and Universal Carrier for use.

Spare Tire Mount Installation Instructions

Our swing away trays have a maximum safe load limit of 180 lbs. When using the tray, this weight is not to exceed 24” in height and be kept within the confines of the tray horizontally and centered within the tray. If using the universal carrier, 35 of these pounds may be shifted to the upper portion of the arm (the 180 lb. total limit still applies).
