Important Fitment Notes

We are proud to offer this replacement seat upholstery for a PAIR of 1974-79 Westfalia seat frames. They are hand tailored one set at a time by the top vintage bus interior guy in the nation. These seat covers are not cheap reproductions like ones found on some other sites. They are carefully hand-crafted right here in the good 'ole USA. Starting with the best aftermarket Westfalia plaid material, they are mated to custom dyed, UV-resistant vinyl, with color matched reinforced piping. Unlike other mass produced kits, great care is taken to ensure the stripes in the plaid line up from seat back to seat bottom, and that the vinyl is the closest match possible to the original, in color, texture and durability. Go ahead. Make those old plaid seats like new again!

Kit includes: 2 seat bottoms and 2 seat backs. Headrest covers available below!

The 1976-79 seats are all the same. If your bus fits within this date range, ordering is simple.

If you have a 1975, your passenger seat should not be on seat tracks, it should have an open back, and be fastened to the seat base by a wire sewn into the hem. The seat backs are slightly curved and contoured looking.

If you have a 1974 bus, the seat backs should be square shaped and boxy. HOWEVER, some late production '74 model buses were delivered with '75 style seats. The easiest way to tell the difference is by looking at the shape of the seat back.

Blue Plaid Seats: The '74 buses came with blue plaid and green vinyl, while the '76-'79 buses came with blue plaid and blue vinyl. The '75 buses came with either vinyl color.
