Bifold Mattress

For the most persnickety snoozers and demanding campers, our bifold memory foam mattress is the best night's sleep we have to offer in an extra durable and convenient form factor. 

Thanks to its bifold construction, the mattress easily folds to stow neatly behind the backseat while not in use. While stowed, the easy-to-clean heavy vinyl back and sides can resist wear and tear from almost anything you'd want to toss haphazardly into the back of your van; surboards or skateboards, camp chairs or marshmallow skewers, lumber or spare parts. Once deployed, the stretch velvet sleeping surface allows the memory foam to conform closely to your body and is soft to the touch. Sweet!

Fits: The lower bed of all 1980-91 Vanagon Camper or Weekender. 
 
Foam features: This mattress uses our thickest, CertiPUR-US® certified, 3" memory foam to float you comfortably above the supportive yet not-so-cushy seats and pad in your lower bed. This bifold style topper is offered in one of two configurations, standard and deluxe. The standard option requires you to zip your original over-engine pad into the slip-cover, whereas the deluxe option is delivered with fresh medium-density foam to replace your old over-engine pad entirely. Extra sweet!

Note: When stowed, the mattress will eliminate about 6" of storage height behind your backseat, and you'll need to lift the upper section to open the rear cabinet in your camper. After your first nap on this mattress, you'll undoubtedly agree that this is space well used!
