Collapsible push rod tubes are life saver when you've damaged one of your original push rod tubes. They allow you remove the damaged tube, and replace it without pulling the cylinder head which would take you the better part of a day. They are a spring-loaded, two-piece design that seals with an o-ring in the middle. They are very simple to install, but can be expected to "weep" oil over time being they are not a one-piece design like the original. If you have several bad push rod tubes, you might be better off pulling the head and replacing them with original style one-piece tubes. They are far less leak prone, and much cheaper.
• Aluminum outer sleeve, stainless inner sleeve. Spring loaded with sealing o-ring.
