The purpose of this kit is to replace the parts most commonly prone to fatigue and failure. These latches often become sloppy and loose over time, usually due to the mounting hardware inside the latch becoming too worn or failing completely.

This kit includes the following parts for both windows:
• (2) Outer cover plates
• (2) Inner seals
• (2) Outer seals
• (2) Mounting screws
• (2) Springs
• (1) Offset flat-head screwdriver (necessary to remove the latch)
• (1) Liquid thread-locker
• (1) Easy to follow step-by-step instructions

This kit does not include the latch or pin. See the related items to replace these parts that are tpyically in reuseable condition.

Installation Note: There are three (3) parts to the sliding-window latch that rarely fail, and are excluded from this kit to save you money. If you would like to replace every part of this system with new parts, they can be purchased separately below.
