*Have you ever wished your intermittent wipers were more (or less)…intermittent? Well, wish no longer! With this quality aftermarket replacement relay you can set the interval on your intermittent wipers anywhere from 0.5 seconds to 20 seconds. To operate, turn the wipers on to the intermittent position. Pull back on the stalk briefly, as if you were spraying the washer fluid (just enough to get the wiper to wipe). When the desired length of time has elapsed, tap the stalk again to set the interval. To change the interval simply repeat the process.

Installation notes: See additional photos for relay positions. Model years 1980-85 will require you to drop the fuse panel (two large Phillips head bolts) to access the relays. In these vans the relay is typically the farthest position to the right. On 1986-91 vans the relay is typically in the center of the lower row of relays just above the fuses. If there is any question about which relay it is simply turn on your intermittent wipers and feel for the relay that is clicking when the wipers sweep (it often has a white '19' printed on the top).
