E-Skate Across America
Bio:
Longtime local skateboarder and Morro Bay Skateboard Museum founder, Jack Smith, will be embarking on a transcontinental electric skateboard ride in an effort to raise funds for the non-profit museum. Inboard Technology, a Santa Cruz-based e-board company, will be supplying the board-riding equipment. GoWesty will be providing the support vehicle: a 1990 Vanagon camper outfitted with all the parts and accessories to help make the adventure safe, comfortable, and successful!
On September 30, 2018, Jack finished his ride across America on the steps of the Smithsonian, to whom he donated the board he rode. You can read more about his adventures here.
