Meet Francesco Gigli (Frankie), Victoria Farrell (Vikki), Federico Gigli (Gibbo), and, of course, Bronzo the Rhodesian Ridgeback and Zuzu the cat!
Their travels have taken them through Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Angola.
They have established collaborations with communities in: Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe, Ghana, Cote D’ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone, The Gambia and Morocco. Their journey will take them along the West African coast, where they will hold workshops in Expressive Arts (Drama) and Surf Craftsmanship. All the tools and materials for the workshops are left behind for each community, ensuring that their 'Seed of Hope' is planted and continues to be sustained.
From the team: Our workshops are based around one central theme; to 'give children the chance to play'. Play is taken for granted around the world, we know it is vital for a child’s health and wellbeing. Our fun, but educational workshops can positively transform lives. Participants experience a sense of freedom and inclusion, which helps strengthen belief in themselves.
“Play is the highest form of research” ~ Albert Einstein
