This Westy Session features Shlomo Franklin performing his song, “Cruel Intentions,” alongside a 1986 Vanagon Weekender. Shlomo is a NY-based singer/songwriter whose debut EP, Don’t Love Anybody, has earned praise from a variety of notable music/lifestyle publications. Shlomo grew up in a very isolated environment, practicing Hasidic Judaism in a tight-knit religious community. He milked cows and baled hay on his father’s dairy farm, all while dreaming about the musical legends that had played at nearby Woodstock. With the release of his EP, Shlomo has broken free as an artist, and we are honored to present his Westy Session to you.
