We purchased this Syncro Westy from a gentleman from Washington. It was his pride and joy, and from the looks of it you could tell he took super good care of it. One day tragedy struck; he dozed off, ran off the road, and struck a tree with the left front "A" pillar. It crushed the pillar all the to about 1" away from the steering wheel. The little Vanagon held up beautifully, and he walked away.
Long story short, and about a year later, he was worn down by the insurance companies. We purchased it for $5,400, shipped it down and parked it in the back.
