Here is a nice, unmolested, original condition 89 Westy. This Westy has no rust at all, all original paint, and interior is decent. It is the perfect starting point, and will look brand spank'n new when we are finished with it. Mileage is not what would be considered super low, but still on the low side--low enough to qualify for a quite extensive AUL extended warranty (included in price). We paid $7750 for it delivered and are going to mark this one up 20% (also included in quoted price).

"This is just what I am looking for" you say, except you want a 90 or 91, right? Well, most people cannot tell a 89, 90, or 91 Westy apart because they are indeed practically identical. The only difference between an 89 and a 90 is that the 89 has the older design mechanically actuated lighter for the refrigerator instead of the electric start unit introduced in 90. If anything, I would consider having a mechanical start frig a positive thing. No, it is not as "automatic" as the later frig, but it doesn't have any of the pricey and soon-to-be-no-longer-available parts that the later electric start frig's require. Even still, many people incorrectly assume there is a significant difference between the 89 and the 90/91 models, so they tend to cost us more to purchase. Silly but true. If this were a 90, we probably would have had to pay $1000 more for it for no good reason...
