Steve had to move on from this Syncro for personal reasons. He is taking quite a loss on it, but it can't be helped.

This van is here on consignment, and is great deal. If you want a super nice Syncro, ready to go for a great price, this is it!

Eugene snapped this one up the day it was posted. The total out the door price of $53,325.63 included all of the above stuff we did for the previous owner, plus the following stuff Eugene is having us do:

Solar powered refrigerator/freezer system
German ESPAR gasoline furnace
Power window switches moved to dashboard and hot-wired
AC system compressor replaced and updated to R134a refrigerant
Fiamma F45 10' awning
Gray leather Recaro front seats
Three-point belts for the rear seat
Super comfy bi-fold downstairs mattress
Yakima roof rack system
Porta-Potti
Trailer wiring
Aluminum ladder for the kids to get upstairs
Power window switches moved to dashboard and hot-wired to 2nd battery
Shipping to Massachusetts.

Then, about six months later, Eugene had it shipped back to GoWesty for the following upgrades:

Fresh GoWesty 2.5 liter engine with all ceramic coated exhaust
Major service--all maintenance items back to zero miles
Fresh customer geared transaxle and front differential
5.43:1 final drive rations front and rear
16" wheels with 225/70-16 BFG tires
Beefed up rear axle assemblies with Porsche 930 Turbo CV joints
Front air locker added
GoWesty progressive lifting springs (already had OME shocks)
Center seat tracks added
2-person and 1-person seat options added
Head rests added to rear bench seat

Fiamma F45 10' awning, installed

Happy trails, Eugene!

Subject: Report from the Road -- Ferrer Syncro

Hey guys:

Thanks so much to both of you and the GW team for all the great work
on my Syncro. I arrived in Denver today, and happy to report no
problems so far -- no leaks, coolant is riding the whole way at mid
way, and cruising comfortably with the taller 3rd and 4th. Yesterday
I was in Salt Lake City, and had the oil changed at just under 1100
miles -- 5 quarts of 20/50, together with a Mann filter and drain plug
washer I brought with me.

Except for a intermitten 4WD indicator light, the Syncro has been running
AWESOME. The taller 3rd and 4th make a big difference in cruising on
the highway, also in climbing these Colorado Mountains. I drove
from Salt Lake City to Denver on I-70 today (with only gas breaks),
which goes through a scenic part of Utah and Colorado, and then ends
up in Vail -- elevation 10,500 feet, and then down to Denver. I was a
bit white knuckled climbing those mountains, but I kept it in the tall
3rd and it chugged up the peaks. Not sure if you have driven through
there before, but the climb goes on forever up to 10,500 feet (at
Vail), and then you go down, and then you go back up to 10,000 feet
again !!! It wasn't a speed demon (I was sharing the slow lane with
the 18 wheelers), but I did not mind. The Syncro climbed, and
climbed. On Wed., I drove from Vallejo, California to Salt Lake
City, again only with gas breaks. I am definitely putting the Syncro
through some work, and it is performing beyond my expectations so far.

As always, dealing with GoWesty has been a pleasure. All of the
recommendations you make are right on.

Subject: Hey -- hope you are well, and of course a question!

Hey Lucas -- hope you and GW team are doing well. Was out bushwacking
off-road with my Syncro a few weeks ago and thought I would pass along
these pix. The ARB recovery strap is one that I purchased from you
guys -- worked well to help clear fallen trees. My buddy who has a
2WD Vanagon came along, and couldn't believe what my Syncro could do!! I
gave the front and rear lockers a work-out on some old trails which
hadn't been travelled since before a severe ice storm hit last year
(no trees cleared).

Thanks
Eugene
