This is super sweet, late model EVC. Needs nothing, ready for the road!
This is Sherry and her daughter Aubrey. They came up from Southern California and snapped this super sweet camper right up. Sherry and her late husband have been long time VW owners, but it has been some time since there was one in her garage. She had a little stint with towing a trailer, and even behind the wheel of a big domestic vehicle. But now it's back to the efficiency and practicality of the VW pop-top camper! You just can't beat 'um! She is excited about having a VW back in the garage!
The total out the door price came to $42,660.62, and included all of the above, plus all tax, license, smog and safety checks and certificate.
Happy trails, Sherry and Aubrey! Have fun!

Subject: 2001 Eurovan Full Camper
Dear Lou and Lori (from Poptop Heaven),
I trust you found the owner's manuals I returned over the weekend. Thank you for letting me borrow them. You seem like nice people, and I really did want to do business with you, and your company.
As I explained in my voice mail, it was only after searching on the Internet for accessories for the camper I was going to buy from you (awnings, specifically) that I ran across GoWesty in Los Osos, California. I noticed they had a "Vehicles For Sale" tab on their website, and ran across a 2001 Eurovan Full Camper with only 38,000 miles they had in stock. There camper was also already equipped with a trailer hitch, awning, alloy wheels, Bilstein shocks and new tires, to name a few differences between it and the one I was going to buy from you. When I learned the "out the door" price for their camper was actually less than than yours, I knew I had to take a look at it.
I was so impressed with the quality of their camper. It had not only been immaculately maintained by the original owners, GoWesty provided me with copies of the CARFAX report, and the invoices showing the work they had just performed right there in the their own service shop. If that was not enough, it was waxed and polished and shines like new. The minute I saw it... I bought it!!
I regret that we could not have done business, but it was well worth the 500 mile round-trip to GoWesty. I would have paid too much for your van. There also would have been additional expenses to add accessories to your vehicle that were already installed on the one I bought from them. The biggest "red flag" for me about your vehicle was the test drive, hearing what sounded like the brakes were at the wear indicators. It made me wonder what else might I have to worry about in buying a used car.
Given the differences between the two vehicles, the choice was obvious, and I had to go with GoWesty!
Thank you both for your time and understanding.
Sincerely,
Sherry
Just another satisfied GoWesty customer.... No big whoop...

Subject: RE: Invoice/Estimate/Quote from GoWesty
I took the camper we purchased from GoWesty into the dealer to investigate what was leaking from the lower engine cover. Turns out it was just cosmoline dripping off the engine! Perhaps the previous owner never drove it 7hours straight from S.F. to L.A. In any event, I thought it would be something minor.
We just came back from Yosemite. The "true test" dry camping. Everything worked fine, and we had a great time.
