Description:

This is Bruce and Karen, all the way from Pittsburgh, PA. They actually bought and paid for this camper a couple of months before arriving to actually pick it up. It was what they wanted, at the price they could afford, and available. They snapped up this sweet 97 EVC the same week it arrived. Then, a while later, they made GoWesty a stop on an already scheduled trip, came by, and drove it off. Viola, just like that.

Total out the door price was $38,505.42, including all the stuff we did for Norbert (click here for previous record), plus:

Refrigerator updated with the “high altitude” kit

Nice mats throughout

GoWesty super comfy extra thick mattress for downstairs bed (click here)

Super thorough GoWesty details inside and out

Fresh engine oil service with synthetic oil.

When we arrived at GoWesty, Dustin and your service manager - Chris Myers - were extremely helpful. I also thank you for your help.

The EVC ran perfectly with no issues at all until the check engine light came on around Cincinnati, OH - the result of my not putting the gas cap on correctly.

The EVC passed Pennsylvania state inspection and Allegheny County emissions checks today with flying colors.

On our trip home icicles formed on the outside mirrors while we travelled thru the "mountains" along I-10 in Texas (within sight of the Rio Grande). We stayed one night in a rest stop and spent 3 nights in Wal-Mart parking lots. The rest of the nights with the exception of our first night in the state park near Los Osos (unheated restrooms)and the second night at a pretty much bare bones campground in Joshua Tree N.P. were in KOAs. The weather was too cold and rainy to spend much time with the top up.

We spent April 19 & 20 camping, bicycling, and walking in the Red House area of New York's Allegany State Park - about 70 miles southeast of Buffalo, New York.  Our parents used to take us there for one week per Summer when I was a kid.  The lake is (I'd guess) perhaps 120 acres.  The park is divided into 2 areas - Red House in NY and Quaker in PA.  I've never been very far into the Quaker Area.

At any rate, since the weather was beautiful and we were staying put for a couple of nights, we put the top up.

The three attached photos are of the camper & bikes, a stream near the campgound, and the Red House lake.
