This is Max the writer, who came all the way from the east coast to pick up this sweet Syncro Westy.
We purchased this Syncro Westy for $17,250. We marked it up 10% from there, so the vehicle itself was $18,975 to begin with, which was a good deal for Max, GoWesty, and the guy from which we purchased it. Then did a $#@!-load of work to it.
Total out the door price came to $48,3111.29, including:
GoWesty super thorough major service
Super major and thorough GoWesty detail inside and out
-Everything that is supposed to be there is there
-Everything that is there is guaranteed to work
Nose and top repainted, black texture all around the bottom
Suspension, brakes, cooling, electrical, drive train, injection systems all gone through thoroughly
Almost $2,000 worth of just in case "reliability" items--better safe than sorry!
Fresh GoWesty 2.4 liter engine
Fresh GoWesty rebuilt transaxle with custom gearing for the 2.4 liter
Decoupler and solid shaft instead of viscous coupler
New 3-window pop-top acrylic pop-top tent
GoWesty deluxe 2nd battery kit

Hidden anti-theft ignition kill switch, located: Made you look!

Hey, Lucas -
Well, I just returned from a 9000 trip across Canada and the US . Since I bought the van from you in '06, I've done half a dozen coast to coast round trips and the odometer just turned over 253,000 miles. I've put over 55,000 on the 2.4 litre engine and it still purrs like a kitten. Starts right up every time. ... been getting 19-20 MPG....depending on headwinds and hills.
My wife and I finally got to do some camping this summer in the Canadian Rockies and she loved it. So thanks to you and your team. It's been great.
