Frederick spent a total of $92,103.36 on this Syncro Westy. Here is what we did:

• Completely disassembled inside, outside, and under
• Repainted back to original VW white (was gray), including top
• Black texture coating around bottom
• GoWesty steel bumpers front and rear
• New 55% hemp/45%cotton 3-window pop-top tent
• New LP tank
• South African grille and headlights
• South African leather steering wheel
• Every nook and cranny on the inside cleaned
• All black leather Recaro full power front seats
• All interior panels, rear seat and super comfy downstairs mattress upholstered in black vinyl and Recaro fabric
• Under dash systems all rebuilt
• Power window switches moved to central location
• All new brakes, larger up front
• All fresh running gear
• Tiico engine replaced with a fresh GoWesty 2.5 liter engine
• All new exhaust system
• All new cooling system
• Full page of reliability-enhancing components preemptively replaced
• All instruments repaired and recalibrated
• Fresh transaxle and front differential:
 - 5.43 final drive gearing F&R, 12% lower which allowed for:
 12% taller 225/70-16 BFG tires all around, then
 1.88:1 2nd gear, 8.7% taller
 1.18 3rd gear, 4% taller
 0.77:1 4th gear, 9% taller
• Drive shaft decoupler and solid shaft instead of viscous coupler
• Front locking differential (this is a triple knob vehicle)
• Porsche 930 Turbo rear drive axles
• New front axles and drive shaft
• GoWesty lifting springs
• OME shocks all around on all fresh suspension
• Skid plate to replace small spare and carrier
• GoWesty double swing away carrier in the rear
• Full size spare tire and wheel on carrier, and tray on opposite side
• Solar powered auxiliary battery system
• Original fridge removed and space turned into cabinetry
• All-electric Engel freezer/fridge installed quick-release style
• Hi-Lift jack—stowed on front bumper
• On-board compressed air system with impact wrench for tire changes
• Hi-amp power outlets mounted on bumpers front and rear
• Warn 6000# portable winch—fits front or rear, stowed under rear seat
• Propex British-made LPG furnace in place of original rear heater
• Fiamma F45 awing in BLACK case
• Upgraded stereo with new speakers all around and sub-woofer
• Drop-down DVD player system with infrared headphones and wired to sound system
• CB radio system with removable antenna and amplifier

This is all we are doing this time around:

• Auxiliary battery system updated to current state-of-the-art
• Fully detailed
• Minor service

Frederic put only 2,857 miles on this puppy. This Syncro Westy would cost WAY north of $100k to duplicate today. Yeah, this is a good deal.

Too late! We posted this Syncro Westy on a Saturday at around 8pm. One of our more attentive customers, Jeff, saw it and wrote us an email about 13 hours after we posted it. And then, 24 hours after that, he had his deposit in!
