We purchased it back from Luis, freshened it up, and sold it to Dane and Aimee. For details of that sale, click here.

This is what we added for Dane and Aimee:

Black rubber mats throughout
15" spare wheel
BFG All Terrain tires
Full swing bike rack on rear {not pictued, but included}

They kept the van in a climate controlled garage in Salt Lake City. They used it for going skiing as well as going to Moab and Jackson Hole. Dane put 12,271 trouble free miles on it, then right at the end of his GoWesty 48/48 engine warranty a freak engine failure occured. He was practically out of warranty, but we gave him a hefty discount on a fresh 2.5 liter engine. So, he was fixed up and back on the road. But other things came up unrelated to the Syncro, and he decided he needed to sell it.

Dane writes:

"The Syncro had all the power I needed to get up the canyon to Alta. We used it when we were out west on vacations. It was a lot of fun. Moving the van back east to Florida has not worked. We only have a two car garage. Poor planning on my part with three vehicles. Plus we just haven't used the van that much. It didn't work out like I thought it would."

So, here is what we are doing to it this time around:

Fresh 2.5 liter engine, with
FRESH GOWESTY 48/48 WARRANTY!!!!
Fresh 2 year/20k service
Thorough detail inside and out
-looks as good as the day it left

This Syncro would cost well over $90k to build fresh today. It is going to make somebody REALLY happy...
